The Tadokoro Laboratory welcomes students from other universities

Tadolab

If you wish to apply, please contact us here: joinus (at) rm.is.tohoku.ac.jp

We plan to hold an online information session for the Tadokoro Laboratory around July 2024 (details to be determined). If you wish to participate, please contact us.

In our lab, we have accepted many students from other universities and technical colleges. For questions about examinations, student life, employment, research content, financial matters, etc., feel free to ask. If you wish to apply, we recommend a preliminary visit and interview. We plan to provide these opportunities around May and June this year. If interested, please state your name and affiliation and notify the staff of your intention to participate. As soon as the schedule is determined, we will send an invitation to those who wish to participate. (Last updated June 10, 2024)

MEXT Scholarship Students

Interested applicants for the MEXT Scholarship through our laboratory are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Academic Transcript: Please provide us with an official transcript from your most recent institution, outlining the courses you've taken and the grades you've achieved. This will give us an understanding of your academic background and achievements.
  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Please provide a detailed CV outlining your academic qualifications, research experiences, publications (if any), skills, and other relevant experiences. This will help us evaluate your suitability for the research program.
  3. Letter of Acceptance by the Consulate: This is a necessary document indicating that you have been formally accepted by the Japanese consulate in your home country for the MEXT scholarship. Without this letter, we will be unable to process your application.

Please ensure that you have these documents prepared when you submit your application. Incomplete applications may not be considered for the laboratory.

The Tadokoro Laboratory is part of the Information Sciences and Mechanical and Intelligence Systems Departments.

The Tadokoro Laboratory is a part of the Graduate School of Information Sciences and the Department of Applied Information Sciences. At the same time, it is also part of the Mechanical and Intelligence Systems Department of the Faculty of Engineering and the Robotics Course. The Mechanical and Intelligence Systems Department is a vibrant group, often associated with the phrase "If you're into mechanical systems, it's Tohoku University." The lab is located within the mechanical systems department, and the employment support is the same as for students in the mechanical systems. Students can effectively consider themselves part of the mechanical systems. We look forward to your participation in the mechanical systems group.

To find more about these opportunities, we invite you to visit our regularly updated Scholarship page for detailed information. All eligible international students are encouraged to explore these options and apply.
